Geo-atmospheric Processing (ReSe, ongoing): Development and operationalisation of the parametric geocoding application PARGE. Integration with the atmospheric correction package ATCOR4 in close Collaboration with DLR Munich/Rudolf Richter, since 1996.
Airborne PRISM Experiment APEX, (ESA): Design of major parts of the APEX prpocessing chain and definition of its specifications, 1998-2008.
Alpine Ecosystem (SNF): Development of methods for the use of imaging spectrometry data in characterization of permafrost areas in Alpine regions. Support to the development of the ‘TEBAL’ Energy balance model, 2000-2001.
Performance and Calibration Requirements for APEX (ESA-Prodex): Development and implementation of methods for the definition of requirements for airborne imaging spectrometers. Derivation of a model for noise equivalent radiance calculation from scientific requirements, 2001.
HyMus (ESA): Study concerns the synergy of optical data of various scales. Hyperspectral and Multispectral data are compared in relation to the impact on biophysical parameter retrieval at various scales. The scales include the spatial, the temporal, and the spectral dimensions. The study was initiated in connection with the LSPIM mission, 2000
